now the 2010 agm is over and both Coventry and peter bough are out of the elite league found a quote on sky sports website
"The BSPA want and need eight teams, and it is now believed they are looking at promoting another team from the Premier League - most likely former top-flight side King's Lynn, or possibly re-starting racing at a former venue such as Oxford."
OK have heard the name bob brimson who took over Eastbourne a while back- anybody throw some light on this full elite league on Monday

Just feel that I should let anyone who may be interested know that on Saturday last I received my 7th or 8th reply over the past 2/3 years from Clive Feltham(GRA) to letters I have sent to him asking for a discussion over the possibility of staging meetings at Cowley.
Mr Feltham's reply again was when I feel there is something to discuss I will contact you.
So anyone who feels there is something positive happening behind the scenes, I don't think so.

I just don't understand it. I have personally approached him with an offer of guarantees in respect of rent up front etc. I have also suggested say 3/4 fixtures, 3 months and/or 1 season but Mr Feltham keeps refusing to discuss it with me!
I thought with Birmingham now in the Elite League it might encourage him to change his mind but unfortunately no.
I actually went to the Birmingham match with Poole last week but not terribly impressed with the facilities.

i think birmingham are still under the control of tony mole. looking at what you have said i thought they would have snapped your hands off with an offer. have you tried getting in contact with some of the other people who have tried, to see if they can thow any light on the situation

I have been anxious not to involve anyone who have been previously involved because i feel that may be part of the problem. However, should Clive Feltham have a change of heart I will of course start gathering people who I know will be useful in the set up.
